At PASA, advocacy is key to driving real change in sanitation policy and practice. We engage with stakeholders through social media, traditional media, and influential platforms like conferences and workshops to raise critical sanitation issues. By leveraging the networks and strengths of our members across Africa, we amplify our collective voice to influence policies and actions. Our Secretariat coordinates these efforts and supports capacity building, ensuring advocacy targets the most pressing challenges in each country.
Technical Assistance
PASA is committed to strengthening our members by providing training and facilitating skill exchanges across the sanitation value chain. Through partnerships with technical experts, we offer tailored assistance to help members tackle challenges on the ground. Our capacity-building efforts cover not just technical sanitation knowledge but also advocacy, business development, financial management, communication, and HR — empowering members to drive lasting change in their communities.
Research and Knowledge Sharing
We foster knowledge sharing and learning among our members and partners to drive innovation in sanitation. By formalizing platforms for information exchange, we enhance peer-to-peer learning and track its impact. Collaborating with research partners, we support the development and wider access to new technologies and innovations that advance the sector.
